Facilities

Facility

The lobby, which welcomes guests first, was redesigned in April 2015 to create a spacious and warm atmosphere.

Front Desk

A large painting, "Onogahara Oitorigari Zu" (Hunting for Chasing Birds), is painted on the back of the check-in counter to welcome you. The original is a folding screen painted in the late Edo period by Oosuka Seikoh, a famous painter of Aizu history. It depicts a very elaborate and realistic scene in which the elite of the Aizu domain are lined up in ranks, holding up their banners, while a clan member on horseback is trying to catch a deer or boar in the center of the scene.
