Two open-air baths, "Sora no Yu" and "Tanagumo no Yu," are one of the attractions of Toho. Located on the third floor of the west side of the tower building, the baths offer a perfect view of the Aizu mountains stretching from the Aizu Basin to Echigo in the distance, and the beauty of the sunset from the open-air baths is unparalleled in Aizu Wakamatsu City.
The open-air baths offer a view of the city of Aizuwakamatsu during the day and a star-filled sky at night, making for a relaxing experience.

In addition to the indoor baths and the two-tiered terraced open-air baths with different depths of water, the circular open-air baths seem to float in midair.
Surrounded by a bamboo grove and jutting out 11 meters above the ground, the baths offer the sound of the wind blowing and birds chirping during the day and the fantastic lighting reminiscent of the Taketori Monogatari at night.

Tanagumo no Yu

The uppermost level is a full-body bath with a panoramic view of Aizu City, the middle level is a half-body bath, and the lowest level is a reclining bath where you can look up to the sky. By varying the depth of the bath, guests can enjoy the spectacular view from various scenes.

In addition to the indoor baths, three open-air baths of different depths are arranged in a terraced pattern. The top level is a full-body bath overlooking the horizon, the second level is a half-body bath, and the bottom level is a reclining bath looking up to the sky.
This magnificent open-air bath offers a 180-degree panoramic view of Aizu from three different perspectives.
